I guess it works fine. This product has you taking herb pills at every meal time, as well as a hard-to-swallow "fiber fortification" drink, which is essentially tree bark pieces suspended in water.
I felt as if I had not eaten in 5 days when I was done. I did not feel especially cleansed.
Take note that this is not a "colon blow" type of bowel cleansing kit; this is more geared toward cleansing the total body of various toxins or spirits or some such. The booklet providided states that "Fasting allows the digestive system to rest and gives the body a changce to turn the energy it would normally use to digest food inward to focus on cellular and digestive rejuvination." That may or may not be true.
Pros:
It was fun to do something different
Swallowing herb pills is a great time
Cons:
Did not feel too cleansed
The "Fiber Fortification" powder chokes and gags you
In the end, I feel that this product and its regimen are perhaps useful as a starting place for diet changes and the like. I think the same result could be accomplished without this product, but the step by step instructions probably help to keep people "on track".

This is the only cleansing program that treats several issues and yet provides excellent nutrition and appetite control as well, so you never feel hungry even though you are fasting for 5 days.

Suggestions for those who can't handle the fiber drink part (what I did): mix with V-8, texture in juice helped as well as letting it soak up some moisture for a bit. Ended up being like really thin oatmeal. Still gross but more do-able.
I cheated a little bit, but mostly because I missed chewing and flavor. Three cheats: 3 salt-n-pepper chips (individual, not bags or handfuls), 1/3 chicken breast (boneless/skinless) and LOTS of low sodium V-8.
I really, really feel the appetite suppressant pills worked. Wasn't that hungry and MANY pills/fiber/water filled me up. Felt less bloated and more energized afterword. Gave me a nice kick-start to my healthier eating (diet is a dirty word, sets ya up for failure). By having an empty stomach, allowed me to eat smaller portions when I started food again.
So far down 10 lbs in 3 weeks and blood pressure is down too!!
Also, noticed this on other reviews and TOTALLY agree: caused some MAJOR breakouts. I attributed it to eating less "cr@p" and skin purging I guess.

I recently just purchased this product and was excited to try it - really just to lose weight and rid the body of toxins. I didnt lower my calorie intake prior to use and didnt have an issue with food cravings. However, by the end of the second day I was so completely nauseated i had to eat. During the 48 hours i did take this product I had terrible sinus problems and an extreme lack of focus. I could barely work my 9-5! The Fiber powder is the most disgusting thing ive ever tried (and i have a high tolerance). It turned the water into a thick ooze...noo way was i going to do that for the entire time. I ended up substituting the fiber with benefiber and that seemed to do fine. It is now the end of day 2 and I am about to stop simply because i am tired of feeling like i have the flu. I may go get some white castle!

This product is great. The appetite suppressants really work. I didn't experience any horrible side effects. Taking the pills are annoying but it's really worth it. The fiber powder is nasty but if you take it with a thick fruit or vegetable drink you will not taste it. I lost 4 pounds in those 5 days I was on this program. And I kept it off. It's been about two months since I took this product and I am continuing to loose weight. Its a great way to jump start a new healthy regimen. I probably would have lost more if it didn't cheat by eating fruits and plantains every day. Despite that I lost weight fast and cleaned out my system. I noticed that my bowl movements were very quick and easy, which made me realize that my colon was cleansed. I will definitely use this product again!
